So you’ve just designed a killer iHTML web application and you’re looking to add some professional looking touches to it. Icon Dock – offers a set of Free Mini Pixel Icons that are pleasing to the eye. The package includes 320 icons (available in various color theme) for general web design such as: blog themes, forums, eCommerce sites, and CMS application. They are designed at 14×14px with transparent background, which is suitable for footer or sidebar navigation buttons. They also offer other Free icons and Professional looking icons set that are at a reasonable price.

Tango Icon Library – with 250+ icons for use in web and desktop applications. Truly Amazing these guys exists to to help create a consistent graphical user interface experience for free and Open Source software. What’s interesting is the amount of thought and work going into this project such visual metaphor descriptions (http://tango.freedesktop.org/Icon_Metaphors).
